It's not uncommon for New Haven, CT junker drivers to vent about their automotive misfortunes. Maybe 'junker' is a little harsh, but after a few years on the road and 100,000 miles or so, chances are your trusty steed isn't quite as reliable anymore. Perhaps it's time to put him out to pasture or at the very least, you can tell the Twitter-verse how frustrating things have gotten lately. Honda, for one, is all ears.

In an engaging new campaign, our favorite brand is encouraging drivers to air their grievances about their old cars, using the hashtag, #wantnewcar. In addition to a bit of catharsis, you could also be treated to a personalized Vine video from Honda. This isn't just generic B-Roll either; we're talking about real-time responses.

Senior Manager at American Honda, Susie Rossick, confirms, "Starting today, Honda will promote #wantnewcar, urging Twitter users to vent about their need for a new car for a chance to receive personalized Vine video responses directly from Honda, all shot and uploaded that day. This campaign provides a new and unique way to remind people that summer is the best time to get a great deal on a Honda."1

Sounds like a pretty cool way to get some individualized attention. Of course, there is another way to replace your oldie. You could always stop into our Branford Honda dealership.

Here at Brandfon Honda, we've been helping drivers find the perfect new or used car since the dark ages of dial up. #practicemakesperfect. Stop by and see us and we'd be happy to help you out, too.
