Month after month, we at Brandfon Honda are continually impressed with our favorite automaker's accomplishments. And, whether this is in the form of sales statistics, or charitable endeavors, Honda is always reaffirming our commitment to offer its quality products to drivers in Branford and beyond.
Well, this past month's statistics were no different than Honda's usually impressive ones as the Japanese automaker was able to sell 136,038 total units for the month of March. And, though this number is remarkable with no point of reference, if you add in the fact that it represents a 7.1 percent year-over-year increase, it's even more so. What's more, the company's Daily Selling Rate (DSR) increased 11.1 percent.
And, of course, there were certain new Honda models that made the biggest impact for the month of sales. Which were they? That question can best be answered by John Mendel, executive vice president of sales at American Honda, "Our core models, Civic, Accord, CR-V and Odyssey, continue to lead the industry where it counts, in retail sales. It's particularly rewarding to see Accord and Civic winning new customers against a headwind of competitor incentives and value-reducing fleet sales."1
The Honda Accord sold a total of 36,504 units for the month of March representing a 36.4 percent increase, while the Civic sold 27,665 units. If you'd like more information about these two models or any of the others in the new Honda lineup, we invite you to contact Brandfon Honda conveniently located at 515 West Main Street Branford, CT 06405, anytime, for more information.
