Honda is known for stealing the show at various auto venues like the New York International Auto Show which ended, recently. And, usually, Honda's accolades include its inventive concepts and dazzling one-off models; this year, however, the main Honda attraction was  a little different.

That's because, Honda debuted its brand-new 2014 Odyssey which featured an incredibly innovative addition to its trunk: a vacuum cleaner.

Knowing that Honda drivers are often heads of big families who might need a little extra cleanup help, Honda has installed any easy-to-access cleaning device right in the Odyssey. This means that the days of lugging a heavy vacuum cleaner from the garage or house are long gone as the Odyssey now has everything you need right in it.

What's more, the new appliance installed in the Odyssey is able to reach into every corner and crevice of the minivan and even to a second car if it's close enough. The way the vacuum works is the same way as household ones do: basically, once you vacuum enough to fill the attached, hidden canister, you can remove it and empty it. The canister is installed into the side paneling on the auto.

We're amazed this is the first time a vacuum has made its way into a vehicle, especially a minivan, it really is an ingenious idea; and of course, we'd expect nothing less from our favorite automaker, Honda. If you'd like to learn more about the inventiveness of the Honda brand, we at Brandfon Honda encourage you to check out our exciting range of new Honda models found at 515 West Main Street Branford, CT 06405, anytime.
