Our fans and drivers in the greater New Haven area have undoubtedly seen many 2013 Honda Fit models cruising around the streets of Connecticut. Recently, the U.S. News & World Report found our favorite hatchback to be the "Best Subcompact Car for the Money" and the "Best Hatchback for the Money" during the annual "Best Car for the Money Awards". We are incredibly proud that our Honda Fit was found to be a high value vehicle in two different segments.
We understand some of you may be wondering just what exactly the U.S. News and World Report looked at in order to determine which vehicles would be award winners. The organization looked at safety ratings, reliability, the cost of ownership over five years, and the average price paid for the vehicle.
Having already won an IIHS "Top Safety Pick" as well as Kelley Blue Book's 2013 Best Resale Value Award, it is pretty logical why our Honda Fit would make it to the podium. Did we mention it is incredibly fuel-efficient too? We were pleasantly surprised that it managed to bring home two awards.
