Here at Brandfon Honda, we know we've been talking about our 2013 Accord Coupe a lot recently. And while we would love to be able to tell our Honda fans in the greater Wallingford area that our favorite coupe took home the coveted prize, sadly we cannot.  However, we are dedicating today's Honda blog post to highlight not one but two automotive distinctions that were recently awarded to our 2013 Accord Coupe.

We have always known that our Honda Accord is incredibly safe. With standard safety features like the back-up camera, lane watch, lane departure warning and forward collision warning systems, it is pretty apparent that nothing was spared in terms of safety.

Our hard work was definitely appreciated and drivers in New Haven will be happy to learn that our Honda Accord earned the highest safety distinction from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). In order to receive a "Top Safety Pick+" from the IIHS a vehicle must be able to pass four out of five crash tests with at least four 'good' ratings and no less than 'acceptable' in the fifth. Deservedly, our redesigned coupe did outstanding and received five out of five 'good' ratings.

If that's not enough to convince motorists in New Britain our Accord coupe also earned a five-star safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's (NHTSA) New Car Assessment Program (NCAP). Hearing about how safe a car is, is one thing seeing it in person is another thing all together.  Schedule a test drive today.

We are conveniently located at 515 West Main Street in Branford, CT 06405. We are confident that there is an option for everyone in our extensive new and used Honda inventory. Stop by today and visit our Honda auto repair center. We hope to see you soon!
