A Honda Odyssey Competes in the Pikes Peak Hill Climb

The 2014 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is just under two months away and Honda is the first team to confirm their lineup for the iconic race.

This annual event, also known as the Race to the Clouds, takes place in Colorado and is a chance for drivers and their automobiles/motorcycles to show off their racing chops. This course is very challenging and in the 12.42 miles it takes to attack the course drivers will go through 156 turns and climb 4,720 feet!

This race isn't just for F1 models, mind you. You'll find SUVs for luxury brands, but we think the most exciting oddball at the 2013 event was a supercharged Honda Odyssey. This minivan, tuned to push out 550hp, was driven by Simon Pagenaud who seemed more than excited to be taking this model up the winding ascent.

We bet no one was snickering at the end of that run!

At Brandfon Honda you'll find a selection of 2014 Honda Odyssey minivans to choose from. You won't get 550 horses, but the 3.5L V6 engine does delivers 248hp and 250 lb-ft of torque, making it an impressively strong machine.

An available push button start means no more digging around for keys and the car configurations make it easy to store cargo with or without the kids in tow.
